It’s Monday at 8 am, and your workday is just getting started. But for John Kirksey, he’s already been up and at it for 3 hours. After all, facilities at Notre Dame Academy in Duluth, Georgia, won’t run themselves.
John’s role as Assistant Athletic Director keeps him busy. Not only is he running the day-to-day operations for the entire athletic department, but he’s also busy assisting the school’s athletic teams as the Head Baseball coach and Assistant Football coach while performing administrative duties for the rest of the Athletic Department. With mounting responsibilities, John began looking for a streamlined way to communicate with his players and their parents.

The high school program at Notre Dame Academy has only been around for 5 years, but the baseball team has already reached the state playoffs for the first time in school history. John knows that when he turns off the lights at the field house at night, Spond is still at work, so he doesn’t have to be. “It’s everything from a group chat to a social media page all wrapped up into one and streamlined into a very user-friendly way”.
