Orkney Women’s Football Club, an amateur team based in the remote Orkney Islands, off the north coast of Scotland, has seen remarkable improvements in coordination and management since adopting the Spond team management solution.

The app makes it simple for players to pay their dues or match fees. Regularly, when a payment request goes out, the girls like to race and see who pays first. It adds a fun element to it.”

The Spond women’s football app has also simplified communication within the club. “Our players like that it is easy to mark attendance and contacting the coaches as players is really secure rather than using messaging apps,” Amy says. Moreover, the app’s ability to manage events and collect necessary information efficiently has saved the club considerable time and effort. Amy estimates that the time saved is substantial: “I really wouldn’t be sure, masses probably!”
