How can my team raise funds?

Any user with admin permissions in Spond Club or the Spond App can set up a Superdraw fundraising campaign. Creating a fundraising campaign takes less than 60 seconds and Spond provides all of the digital collateral you and your members need to share and promote the Superdraw with your family, friends and supporters. The more entries you sell, the more you make. Simple! We provide a dashboard and reporting tools for you to track progress and settle funds directly into your group's bank account when the fundraising campaign closes.

Who can sell Superdraw entries?

When a fundraising campaign is setup in Spond, the club or group admin nominates members to sell entries for Superdraw. Each seller receives a personalised mobile landing page, with a unique tracking URL and QR code that can be shared and promoted for them to help sell entries, and generate sales towards hitting your fundraising target.

Is there a limit to how much we can raise?

No! We've had clubs and groups raise from £5 to £10,000+ and everywhere in between. Your club or group receives 65% of all Superdraw entries you sell via your campaign.

What is Spond Superdraw?

Spond Superdraw is a three-times yearly networked prize draw that runs across participating clubs and groups in Spond. We provide you, your members, and your supporters, with the chance to win awesome prizes in an exciting online draw that includes guaranteed prizes.

How can I leave a group?

Go to the group > press 'more' and scroll down to 'leave group’.

Why can’t I find a group?

It is not possible to manually search for a specific group, as Spond only generates closed groups. You will be automatically added to a group if you are invited by the group administrator. If you have been invited but cannot see the group or group invitation when you log in, ask the administrator if they have added you with the same contact info as you registered with.

Do I need to use the app to use Spond?

No, once the invitation is sent out, we encourage users to download the app, but you can also keep receiving notifications by email if you don’t download the app. The initial group invite can be sent via text message. However, there is only a limited number of texts per user, so we do recommend registering with an email to continue receiving notifications.

Can I hide my contact information from other group members?

Yes, to do this you can go into the group, then press ‘more’ > ‘contact information’ and select ‘only visible for administrators’. This is a per-group setting, so you can hide your contact information in some groups while still sharing it with members in other groups.

How does the app work for me as a guardian?

As a guardian, you will be able to manage all of your children’s Spond invitations and receive push notifications when new information is added to the group. If a child is old enough to reply for themselves, it is also possible to add a contact point for the child (member). There is no limit as to how many guardians each child can have.

Can I synchronize Spond with my calendar?

Yes! You will be able to synchronize events with your calendar if you have the Spond app and you can change these settings within your profile.
