Jeanne Wins Big with Superdraw: Spond's Team Fundraising Tool

Spond Superdraw now features three major draws per year: Easter, Summer, and Halloween. The prize money has increased to £1,750 per draw, and our commission rate has been reduced to 35%.

Sales start two months before the draw date, on the first of the month. ie. Easter Superdraw sales start on February 1st.

Draws take place at Easter (March 31st), Summer (July 31st), and Halloween (October 31st).

You can set up your new Superdraw fundraising campaign as soon as the previous draw is complete, and then any time up to seven days before the next draw takes place.

The changes aim to create more significant, exciting events that better support club and group fundraising efforts, making each draw a special occasion.

In each draw, the total prize of £1,750 will be divided among three winners: £1,000 for the first prize, £500 for the second, and £250 for the third.

The monthly draws have been replaced with the three annual draws to focus on larger, more impactful fundraising events.

The commission is 35%, reduced from the previous rate of 50%. This primarily goes towards the prize fund, managing the platform, hosting, etc.

With a lower commission rate of 35%, more of the funds raised from entry sales will go directly to your club or group, enhancing your fundraising efforts. Spond still pays 100% of the prizes.

‘Spot the Ball’ is an on-demand fundraising tool within the Spond App, offering a flexible, year-round fundraising option alongside the three-times yearly Superdraw events. This means you can still start a fundraising campaign at a time that suits you.

These changes are effective immediately. The next upcoming draw will be the Easter Superdraw.
