Halloween Superdraw has been horrifically good fun and Dorset resident Peter Stamps is among the lucky Spond Superdraw winners.
After being introduced to Spond Superdraw by his daughter, Peter was keen to enter and help raise funds for new kits for Salisbury RFC Juniors. This is a cause close to Peter’s heart as his grandson Eli Evans, 7, plays for the club and shows a budding passion for rugby.
Peter takes his place among the Superdraw winners
A retired Armed Forces veteran, Peter, 66, has had a long-standing connection with the sport. He keenly follows mini rugby, a tradition he began many years ago with his own son. He told Spond: “It’s heartwarming to see Eli playing for Salisbury RFC. I loved watching my son on the rugby field. Now, witnessing my grandson share the same moments with his own dad is truly special.”
On his unexpected £500 win, Peter told Spond, “I’m absolutely thrilled! This win is a pleasant surprise and makes this year a tad more special. Supporting Eli and promoting physical activity for kids has always been close to my hear. This feels like a well-timed reward.”
An extra-special Christmas thanks to Superdraw
With the festive season approaching, Peter plans to use his prize money for an extra special Christmas gift for each of his grandchildren, ensuring this year’s celebrations are truly memorable.
